Pumping systems must be durable, cost effective and operate trouble-free. Duff has decades of experience devising pumping solutions with all types of pumps and motors, for all fluid types and flow requirements. We ensure a perfect match with hydraulics, motors, electrics, and all other mechanical components that make up a comprehensive pumping solution, providing the best possible efficiency point.
From standalone multistage centrifugals, like Grundfos’ vertical CR(E) and horizontal CM(E); to the compact, all-in-one Grundfos MQ pump, specifically designed for residential water supply; and from the Grundfos BMQE constant pressure “pump in a can”, and the Grundfos BMS booster modules, used mainly for reverse osmosis and ultra-filtration applications; to the skidded BoosterpaQ systems with multiple pumps and integrated control panel–Duff experts are available to help you find the perfect match for your application.
Make sure to ask about how special high-efficiency motors in many booster applications can result in immediate payback.
The Grundfos CMBE Booster is designed for domestic and commercial water supply, pressure boosting, irrigation and dewatering applications.
The CMBE series is available in both 1×110-120V and 1×200-240V variants and uses energy efficient, permanent magnet motor technology, which provides unmatched reliability, quiet operation, and energy savings.
Thanks to the integrated speed controller, the CMBE keeps a constant pressure in the pipe system. A pressure sensor monitoring discharge pressure will signal to the speed controller to change the motor speed to adapt the performance to the new situation.
• Constant pressure via integrated speed control
• Compact design
• Robust, stainless steel design
• Easy installation
• Low energy consumption
• Dry-running protection
• Noise level below 55 dBA and even lower at controlled speed
The CMBE Booster is a complete pump system preassembled with the following components:
• CME pump with integrated frequency converter
• 5-way fitting with non-return valve
• Diaphragm tank
• Pressure gauge
• Pressure sensor
Simplicity & Savings
The simple control panel features the GRUNDFOS Eye that indicates system status, warnings and alarms. Adjusting to the desired setpoint is easy using the one-touch control buttons. The light fields on the control panel will indicate the setpoint setting. All these features add up to savings in monitoring and maintenance, energy and efficiency.
Additionally, you can use the Grundfos GO App to communicate with the CBME. Grundfos GO gives you intuitive handheld pump control, and full access to all the Grundfos online tools on the go.
NEW! Perfect water pressure – finally compact and easy to install
SCALA2 is a fully integrated water booster pump providing perfect water pressure in all taps at all times – even with multiple taps and showers running at the same time. It packs pump, motor, tank, sensor, drive and non-return valve into one compact unit. And with its intelligent pump control, SCALA2 automatically adjusts performance to both inlet pressure and water consumption in the home. Thanks to a water-cooled motor, SCALA2 even offers one of the lowest noise levels of any booster on the market.
What is intelligent pump control?
SCALA2 features a built-in sensor, which constantly measures the discharge pressure. If the pressure drops below the desired level, SCALA2 boosts its operation immediately to compensate for the loss of pressure. We call it intelligent pump control and the result is perfect water pressure.
- Perfect water pressure: Intelligent pump control adjusts operation automatically
- Low noise: As quiet as a modern dishwasher (47 dB(A) in typical use)
- Easy selection: One variant for all domestic boosting needs
- Easy installation: Compact, all-in-one solution, plug-and-pump
- Easy to operate: User-friendly control panel
- Reliable operation: Dry-running protection, anti-cycling
- Long lifetime: Quality-tested to perfection, maintenance-free

Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ Systems
Duff offers packaged boosting systems, with either vertical or horizontal multistage pumps, designed for transfer and pressure boosting of clean water for all sorts of applications. The system consists of two to six CR(E) or CM(E) pumps connected in parallel and mounted on a base frame and provided with a control cabinet and all the necessary fittings.
The pumps of the booster set can be removed without interfering with the pipework on either side of the manifolds. Consequently, even on the largest booster sets, service can be performed by a single person with a forklift truck or crane.
Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ systems feature a built-in start-up wizard in a wide range of languages that guides the installer through a series of steps until the system is correctly installed and commissioned. When the installation is complete, the large, user-friendly color display will ensure that day-to-day operation is equally easy.
Each Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ is built on the highly renowned Grundfos CR(E) or CM(E) pump range. As our customers can attest, these pumps are known for their reliability, efficiency and adaptability. Every vital piece of the Hydro MPC is made by Grundfos. You are thus guaranteed long-lasting technology that requires minimum of maintenance and provides maximum of efficiency.
Grundfos high-efficiency motors, with or without an integrated or external variable frequency drive, meet and in some cases exceed the requirements set by motor-efficiency legislation around the world. Considering that on average 85% of a normal pump system’s Life Cycle Cost (LCC) is energy costs, switching to high-efficiency motor technology can mean a LCC reduction of up to 50% and a reduction in environmental impact.
The Grundfos MLE is a motor and variable frequency drive (VFD) integrated into one unit that substantially reduces or eliminates problems associated with the following:
- VFD and motor compatibility
- Radio Frequency Interference (RFI)
- Peak voltages
- Harmonic distortion
- incorrect drive setup
- Voltage imbalance

Grundfos CUE & GO Remote
Control and monitoring systems increase the potential for improving both efficiency and reliability. Grundfos manufactures external variable speed drives (Grundfos CUE), dedicated controls and internet-based supervision (Grundfos Remote Management) that are fully integrated into a pumping system. Dedicated controls enable easy controlling of pump functionalities with an easy-to-use SCADA interface. Grundfos monitoring and control systems include plug-and-play communication interfaces that communicate with 95% of the communication standards available on the market.
We design our custom solutions specifically for each pumping installation, and all components are fully integrated from the outset. Life Cycle Cost analyses have shown how this seemingly complex and costly process results in tangible benefits for owners and users. Duff remains with you and your pumping solution for the duration, whether you need start-up assistance or trouble-shooting.
