Strong Acid Cation Resins

CGS-BL Black

ResinTech CGS-BL is a high purity, dark colored, high capacity, gel type sulfonated polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium form as moist, tough uniform spherical beads. ResinTech CGS-BL specifically is intended for use in all water softening applications, including beverages, potable water and water used for food processing. Its high capacity and DVB content provide long life in all potable water applications. (It is also available as a light-colored product – ResinTech CGS – with identical properties.)

CGS-BL Amber

ResinTech CGS is a light colored, high capacity, gel type sulfonated polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium form as moist, tough uniform spherical beads. ResinTech CGS is intended for use in water softening applications. (It is also available as a dark colored product – ResinTech CGS-BL – with identical properties.)

CG8-BL

ResinTech CG8-BL is a premium grade, high capacity, gelular, sulfonated, polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium or hydrogen form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. ResinTech CG8-BL-HP is intended for use in all water softening, dealkalization, deionization and chemical processing applications.

CG8-F Fine Mesh

ResinTech CG8-F is a premium grade, high capacity, gelular, sulfonated, polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium or hydrogen form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. ResinTech CG8-F is intended for use in all water softening, dealkalization, deionization and chemical processing applications.

ResinTech CG10 is a premium grade, high capacity, gelular, sulfonated, polystyrene cation resin supplied in the sodium or hydrogen form as moist, tough, uniform, spherical beads. ResinTech CG10 is intended for use in all water softening, dealkalization, deionization and chemical processing applications.

Strong Base Anion Resins

SBG1P-HP Strong Base

ResinTech SBG1P is a chloride form type 1 porous gel strong base anion resin. SBG1P has higher moisture content and lower ion exchange density than SBG1. This results in higher operating capacity, better chemical efficiency and improved resistance to fouling. ResinTech SBG1P is intended for use in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems as well as in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc. SBG1P-OH is especially well suited for use in working mixed beds. SBG1P is available in the chloride form or in the hydroxide form (when ordered as SBG1P-OH).

SBG2-HP Strong Base

ResinTech SBG2 is a chloride form type 2 gel strong base anion resin. SBG2 has high capacity, high chemical efficiency and good resistance to fouling. ResinTech SBG2 is intended for use in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc., as well as in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems. SBG2-OH is especially well suited for use for systems where amine odors might be objectionable. ResinTech SBG2 is supplied in the chloride form or in the hydroxide form (when ordered as SBG2-OH).

SIR100-HP Nitrate

ResinTech SI R-100-HP is a strong base anion exchange resin supplied in the chloride form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. It is especially useful in nitrate removal applications due to its ability to remove nitrates preferentially in the presence of sulfates and other divalentions. The use of ResinTech SIR-100-HP eliminates nitrate dumping and retains a greater degree of its operating capacity in the presence of high levels of sulfates where standard anion resins such as ResinTech SBG1, SBG1P, or SBG2, would suffer loss in operating efficiencies and exhibit nitrate dumping in the presence of sulfates. *ResinTech SIR-100-HP is also intended for use in applications involving monovalent and divalent ions where the monovalent ion must be removed preferentially, such as in removing perchlorates from ground waters.

SIR-300 pH Adj. 4

ResinTech SIR-300 is a macroporous weak acid cation exchange resin based on the iminodiacetate acid functional group, which has chelating properties for heavy metal ions even against high concentrations of calcium. It is intended for use in polishing heavy metal ions from near neutral industrial wastes and process streams, and recovery of precious metals. ResinTech SIR-300 is supplied in the sodium form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads.

SIR-1 110HP Perchlorate

ResinTech 110-HP is a strong base anion resin supplied in the chloride form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. It exhibits an unusually high preference for perchlorate and a very low affinity for multivalent ions, It is the resin of choice for single-use perchlorate removal applications. It is also suggested for nitrate removal applications where brine recovery is practiced. The use of ResinTech SIR-110-HP essentially eliminates all monovalent “dumping” making it also highly useful in nitrate removal applications. Its nitrate and perchlorate operating capacity is virtually unaffected by the presence of sulfates.
