Grundfos S: Sewage Pumps

S pumps form the backbone of many sewage systems. They are selected for their strength, their durability, and innovative features such as the SmartTrim impeller clearance adjustment system and the SmartSeal system for leak prevention.  The SmSewage Pump from GrundfosartTrim system used on the S-pumps makes it easy to adjust the factory-set impeller clearance and thus to maintain maximum pump efficiency. The Grundfos SmartSeal Auto-coupling gasket provides a completely leak-proof connection between the pump and the base unit of the auto-coupling system. The shaft seal is capable of rotating in either direction. When the pumps are installed with separate pipework, sludge sedimentation can be avoided by back-flushing the system at regular intervals.

Grundfos SEG: Grinder Pumps

Grundfos grinder (SEG) pumps are specifically designed for areas with no sewer systems or areas where gravitation systems are unsuitable. The high discharge pressure enables transfer of effluents and sewage over longer distances to the public sewer or sewage treatment plant. Available in single- or three-phase voltage, designed for voltage tolerances of –10%/+6%, SEG pumps can be submerged up to 65 feet.

The SEG range combines cost-effectiveness with maximum protection for a pressurized system. The SEG range is designed to reduce energy consumption and to keep downtime costs to a minimum, while maintaining peak performance throughout the system life.
