Whether you manage a commercial building with limited operations or a multi-family facility strained by stay-at-home orders, COVID-19 has surely impacted your routine and changed your needs.     To continue to serve you while ensuring the safety of our employees and partners, we are limiting the number of staff within our building, and office staff are working from home. But our sales teams are still available, our parts desk is open, and all of the systems and parts you rely on are in stock and ready to ship. For local customers, curbside pickup is available by calling our parts department at 610-275-4453.

    Our hours have temporarily changed to:

    Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Saturday: Closed
    Emergency services are still available during other times.

    Under the new name of Fels Supply LLC, Steve Fels and his staff will continue to provide wholesale flooring, blinds, and tile with the same dedication to customer service, now as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Duff Co.

    What is COSTARS?

    COSTARS is Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program. The COSTARS program provides registered local public procurement units, as well as state affiliated entities and suppliers a tool to find and do business with each other effectively through the use of a contract established by the state Department of General Services.

  • Mascots That Won’t Scare You

    May 18, 2017

    Did you know that the county in which Duff has its world headquarters–Montgomery County, PA–is the first county in the United States to have its own mascot?

    Monty!

    It’s true. According to his official bio, Monty the Fox was born and raised in Valley Forge National Historical Park. Monty had made a home for himself inside one of the recreated Continental Army huts. A friendly park ranger found him one day after leading tours of the area and the two became quick friends.

    At Duff Co., we too have a mascot that motivates us on a daily basis, and embodies all the values that makes Duff Differ. A brown (with white feet and belly) mutt, Mo the Dog is our local mascot. He comes to work regularly, assists in all aspects of the business, and has developed a special expertise in certain product categories. Put simply, Mo is our Monty.

    If you look carefully, at the :29 mark of this video, you’ll get a peak at the enthusiasm Mo brings to the workplace. He’s an inspiration to all of us, and our lodestar. For these reasons, he has won the Duff employee of the year award for a record three straight years.

    Yesterday we endured torrential downpours. The weather can bring about dower moods; bring traffic to a halt; and otherwise ruin well laid plans.

    Yet the rain can also expose critical problems like leaky roofs and other water damage. When that happens, or to prevent it in the future, make sure to think of Duff–for sump pumps, drainage and other water-diverting solutions.

That’s where we got half of our slogan (“When you need it now, or don’t know how…“). We’re problem solvers, and we come up with solutions. We view our job as making our customers’ jobs easier.
